Dr. Emmanuella Okocha is originally from Houston and attended Texas Tech University for her undergraduate studies. Afterwards, she attended The Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and in the top ten of her class. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Okocha received numerous scholastic awards in clinical and academic excellence.
After graduating, Dr. Okocha went on to complete a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease where she gained further experience in glaucoma, diabetic exams, cataract, retinal disease, specialty contact lenses, and pre and post refractive surgery treatment. Dr. Okocha is a proud member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
A self proclaimed foodie, Dr. Okocha enjoys finding new places to eat and trying new foods. She also enjoys traveling, exercising and watching movies.
